Location, location, location!  The newest luxury Rock Resort ski-in, ski-out hotel and residences sits majestically at the base of Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado.  One Ski Hill Place is scheduled to fully  open in the fall of 2010 and will meet the time tested standards of the Rock Resort family of elegance and lavish accommodations.

A snow front plaza will be the resorts gateway to four chair lifts.  Residents and hotel guests will enjoy amenities to complement their skiing such as an aquatics center, media and game room, bowling alley, state of the art Spa, restaurant and après ski bar.

On June 1st the resort will do what is called a soft open as they begin staffing and opening sections of the property.  This is a great opportunity to snag a deal.  For the summer, One Ski Hill Place is offering specials for the summer--book this new Rock Resort by June 1, 2010 and save 33% off the regular price of a room.   One Ski Hill Place is located 100 miles from Denver International Airport and 70 miles from the Vail Airport. What's next for airlines, paying by the pound? -

Now that Spirit Airlines has done the unthinkable, announcing plans to begin charging for carry-on bags this summer -- that's right, carry-on bags -- the question everyone seems to be asking is: What's next?

Pay toilets? Too late. Ryanair, the irreverent Irish discount carrier, is reportedly considering the concept. No, the next big idea could be paying by the pound. Seriously.

Bike Sharing with B-Cycle in Denver CO |

B-cycle station

Seems like Denver may not have be the best place to launch this new service.  But in warmer locations I could see such a system being great for visitors. TB

B-cycle was built to make getting around your city easier. It’s for people on the go. Whether you’re grabbing coffee or commuting to work, B-cycle is a quick, easy, and cheap alternative to being stuck in a car.

The Cocaine Cowboys Field Guide To Miami : Map | Gridskipper

MAC-10s and man purses are no longer de rigueur in Miami, and a brand new skyline of empty condo towers is a reminder of yet another boom and bust cycle that has long characterized Miami's history. But those with an interest in the macabre can still find the monuments of Miami's "Wild West" days of the 1980s as a wide open, gunslinging, coke trafficking frontier town.

Do flight attendants hang out with pilots on layovers? |

Pilots And Stewardess

Do pilots and flight attendants spend time together on layovers? Sometimes. Depends on the crew. Also depends on the length of the layover. At my airline, the majority of our domestic layovers average 10 hours. Add a delay or a mechanical into the mix (they happen!) and that 10 hour layover quickly becomes a nine hour layover. That's not enough time to do much other than sleep, eat and shower.

Four times to skip a travel agent |

Want to go somewhere? Book the trip yourself.

About half of all leisure trips are reserved online -- give or take a few percentage points -- according to several recent surveys. The latest, a Forrester Research study which showed an unexpected drop in the number of U.S. leisure travelers who booked online (it fell from 53 percent in 2007 to 46 percent last year) was a boost to traditional travel agents, who thought their days were numbered.

Why Three Isn’t Always a Crowd When Traveling | BootsnAll

When choosing a travel companion there are so many things to consider. Many choose to travel with friends, others with their significant other and some go at it alone. So when I ventured out on a year-long trip abroad, choosing a travel companion was of the upmost importance. My boyfriend and I planned our RTW adventure together for over two years so when we decided to add a third wheel to the mix, many thought we were crazy.
